EVERNOTE: The Tool that Keep your Air Staff on the same page

I have worked with many stations that had a cumbersome way of keeping their staff updated with the latest info on station events. These stations are typical of most stations. Maybe yours. To keep your staff on the same page, you send emails, then attachments in those emails with various promos etc. Then when there was an update to one, you send out another email. Then some staff member did not get the email SO, you have to resend it.  That nonsense can now end. EVERNOTE is a free online tool that will keep ALL your staff on the page ALL the time.

Here is how I have used it and seen it used. And it's really simple: Write each promo on your online Evernote page. Though can create several pages, I recommend never having more than 3 or 4. Especially, ONE main page that has all your announcer liners and promos.


NOW, if there is an update, NO need to send an email out every time there is a need to update the staff on some important change or addition to your events. Just change it on your Evernote page, and everyone is updated immediately, as soon as they log in. I have worked with stations that switched to Evernote instead. Their staffs are now 100% on the same page, without the hassle of keeping up with several pages of copy and emails.  (www.evernote.com)
